Our office is in the Mubarak Complex, right across from Lisie Hospital in Ernakulam. It’s a very busy spot because of the hospital. There’s always an ambulance siren or people rushing around outside. We’ve been here for a good while, and the location is probably the best thing about us. It makes it easy for people to find us when they need supplies. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a small group working out of a couple of rooms in the complex. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the elevator in the building is a bit temperamental, but we like it here. We spend our days answering calls and organizing medical items. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking expiry dates. We don't have time for fancy corporate talk. We just want to make sure the right things get to the right people. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. Most of our customers are just local folks or people visiting the hospital. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. It’s just a small business trying to do its part in Ernakulam. We’ve seen the city change a lot from our window over the years, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done.
