We’ve been here at 40/3567 on Jews Street for quite a bit now. If you know the area, it’s pretty busy most mornings. Our building is easy to find once you get onto this stretch. Basically, we handle steel. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved and the yard gets dusty, but that is just how it is with this kind of work. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around the different types of metal we keep in stock. It’s not a fancy setup. We have the office where the paperwork happens and then the space where the actual steel sits. Some days it’s quiet, other days there are trucks lined up and everyone is rushing around to get things loaded. We try to keep things organized but with steel, it’s always a bit of a mess. People usually just drop by or give us a call to see what’s available on the floor that day. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure the orders go out. You’ll mostly find us drinking tea between shipments. It's a local spot, nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on getting the metal moved from here to wherever it needs to go next. Jews Street has changed over time but we’re still right here in the same spot.
