Glass & Steel

Glass & Steel is the name of our place over here at Hotel Highway Garden. We are situated right on the N H Bye Pass in the Edapally area of Ernakulam. It’s a very busy road, so we get a lot of people driving through who need a place to stop and eat. Padivattom is just a short distance away. The restaurant is part of the hotel, so we serve the guests staying in the rooms plus the locals who come in. We have a lot of glass windows, which I guess is where the name comes from. The interior is simple, mostly just tables and chairs set up for busy lunch and dinner hours. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the kitchen and making sure the tables are wiped down after people leave. The staff has been with us for a bit, and we all know how the rush works. Sometimes the bypass traffic makes it hard for people to turn in, but we still stay pretty busy most days. It’s not a quiet place because of the highway, but it’s a good spot for a meal. We’ve been operating out of this Ernakulam address for some time now. We just open the doors and get to work every morning. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours on our feet, but that is how a restaurant goes.
