Steel Furn

Our shop, Steel Furn, is located at No.41/1782-A in the Vee Kay Towers. We are right on Ta Beerankunju Road. It is a very busy street with plenty of people moving through at all hours. We mostly deal with steel items, just as our name suggests. It is very different from working with wood. There is a lot of clanging noise and the smell of metal paint is often in the air. Vee Kay Towers is a well-known building in this part of town, so we are fairly easy to find. We do not have a huge staff working here. It is just a few of us making sure that everything is in its proper place. The shop floor is not air-conditioned or fancy. It is a real working space for real people. We have steel cupboards and storage racks lined up against the walls. Some are finished and ready to go, while others are just bare metal frames. We have been on Ta Beerankunju Road for a long time now. We know most of the other shop owners around this neighborhood. It feels like a real community. We do not run any big marketing campaigns or put up posters. We mostly rely on people seeing our work and deciding to come back later. Sometimes the heavy rain makes things a bit difficult, but we keep the stock covered. We are not trying to be modern. We just provide sturdy stuff.
