Simona Fabrication

Simona Fabrication is tucked away in Koovapadam here in Cochin. Our shop is easy to find if you know the area. We do a lot of metal work and general fabrication. It is a small team and we have been at this for a good while. The air here usually smells like salt and burnt metal because we are close to the water but always have the welding machines running. We have got all kinds of tools hanging on the walls. Most days we are busy bending pipes or fixing up iron structures for local projects. It is not the cleanest place, as there are metal shavings everywhere on the floor, but we know where everything is. We do not spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our work comes from people walking by or neighbors telling their friends about us. We just sit out front when it is quiet and wait for the next job to come in. It can get humid in the shop, so we keep the doors wide open. We like the work we do. It is practical and it helps people get their buildings or repairs finished. We just keep it simple and focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, chatting until the lights come back on and we can start the drills again.
