Rare Medicines

You can find Rare Medicines on the second floor of the Omar Complex. We are located at Karukapilly Junction on Deshabhimani Road in Kaloor. Being on the second floor means we don't get as much foot traffic as the shops on the ground level, but people who need us usually find their way up the stairs or the elevator. We chose the name because we try to keep things that aren't always available in every small pharmacy. The Omar Complex is a well-known spot in Kaloor, so it's not too hard to find. The office space we have is set up with lots of cabinets and shelves. We spend a lot of time on the phone with different suppliers to see who has what in stock. It’s a bit different from a regular street-side chemist. We have a small desk where we handle the billing and the paperwork. Sometimes the hallway in the complex gets a bit crowded if there are deliveries happening, but we make it work. Kaloor is a very central location, which helps us get things moved around the city quickly. We’ve been here for a bit now and have a steady flow of people who know they can come to us for their specific needs. It's not a flashy place, just a functional space where we do our work. We focus on getting the right medicines to the people who are looking for them, and that keeps us busy enough throughout the week. There's a small tea shop downstairs.
