Rajaram Traders

You can find us at 20 Kid Gardens in South Kalamessery. Cochin is a busy place, but our little corner is tucked away a bit. Rajaram Traders isn't a massive warehouse. It’s a medium-sized space where we keep our stock and handle the daily trade. The humidity here is something you just have to live with. It makes the paperwork feel damp sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the local shops get what they need. It’s a lot of coordination. There isn't any fancy software involved, just a few notebooks and a lot of memory. We have a small staff of three people. We’ve worked together so long that we don't even need to talk much to know what needs doing. The street outside is usually full of parked scooters and people walking to the gardens. We open the shutters early to let the air in. Sometimes it rains so hard we have to move everything away from the front door. We don't have a big marketing plan or a mission statement on the wall. We just show up at 20 Kid Gardens and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a simple trading life. We know the other traders in South Kalamessery and we help each other out when we can. That’s just how it is for us at Rajaram Traders. We just keep our heads down and do what we do.
