Popular Metals is situated right on the NH Bypass in Edappally, not too far from the Oberon Mall. Being so close to the highway means we get to see a lot of the city’s traffic moving past our front door all day long. It is a convenient location, which helps when we have big loads of metal coming in or going out. Our shop isn't a massive warehouse, but we make the best use of the space we have. We’ve been a part of this neighborhood for a long time and have seen Edappally grow up around us. Most days, you’ll find us busy with the inventory, moving pipes or sheets around to make room for new stock. We don't have a corporate vibe here at all. It is just a few of us who know the metal trade and work hard to keep things organized. The shop can get quite hot in the summer months, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. We don't spend time on fancy speeches or elaborate presentations. If someone walks in looking for a specific type of metal, we just check our stacks and give them a direct answer. It is a straightforward business, and we prefer it that way. We like the honesty of working with raw materials and seeing the local builders come by to pick up what they need. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown very comfortable with over the years.
