Dsv Air Sea Pvt. Ltd. is based out of a house, number 12-103, on the road from Vadakkepra to Panayappilly. It's a bit of a different setup since it's in a residential-looking area, but we manage all our air and sea logistics from here. The house is big enough for our desks and all the documents we have to process for shipping. It’s usually pretty busy with the phones ringing constantly. We deal with transport stuff all day. The road outside is quiet most of the time compared to the city center. We like it here because it’s a bit more relaxed than a high-rise building. Our team is small and we all know how the business works. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in if they need to talk about a shipment. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do, talking to drivers and people at the port. We try to stay on top of the schedules. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone. It’s just how the shipping business goes. We’ve set up our workspace to be functional for the long hours we sometimes put in. It’s a practical environment. No one wears suits here. We just focus on moving goods from one place to another from our base here in Vadakkepra. It's just a lot of logistics and talking to people.
