If you walk down Jews Street, you’ll eventually run into us at Noor Metals. It’s a narrow street with a lot of history and old buildings that have seen better days. We deal with metal here, so there is usually a lot of clanging and banging going on. It’s not the quietest place to spend your day. There are scraps of iron and other bits lying around the floor. We try to keep it somewhat tidy, but metal is heavy and hard to move. People come to Jews Street looking for all sorts of parts or materials. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby. It’s just a workshop where we work with our hands and get a bit dirty. The sun doesn't reach the street very well because the buildings are so close together, so it stays a bit cooler inside. We spend a lot of time weighing things and moving piles of metal from one side to the other. Sometimes people just stop by to chat or see what we’ve got. We don’t have a mission statement or any of those corporate goals. We just want to finish the work and make sure everyone gets what they paid for. It’s a simple business on an old street. Jews Street has a lot of character, and we are just one part of it, doing our metal work every day. It's just a regular life for us.
