You can find us over on S.R.M. Road in Cochin, at number 3|2663. It’s a busy street and there’s always something going on outside. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while. The building itself is sturdy and has plenty of rooms for people. We aren't like those massive hotels you see in movies; we are more grounded. Our staff is mostly local people who have been with us for years. We know the best places to get things nearby. The lobby isn't huge, but it has a few chairs where you can wait. We try to keep the rooms clean and the water running hot. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, but we get the repairman in pretty quick. The kitchen serves up regular food that tastes like home. We don’t have fancy menus with words you can’t pronounce. It’s just solid meals. Being in Cochin means we deal with a lot of rain during the monsoon season. We always have a few extra umbrellas behind the counter for people to borrow. The traffic on S.R.M. Road can be a bit much during rush hour, so we tell people to plan ahead. We aren't trying to be the most luxurious place in the city. We just want to provide a decent place to stay for a fair price. It’s honest work and we like seeing familiar faces come back. The floor tiles are a bit chipped in the corners, but we keep them polished. We have a small TV in the common area.
