Indu Stores

Our shop, Indu Stores, is located right near the private bus stand here in the Alappuzha District. It’s a very convenient spot because people are always coming and going from the buses all day long. You can hear the conductors shouting out the destinations and the old engines idling from morning until night. It's a bit noisy, but it means there are always people walking past the door. We started this place because we wanted to be right in the middle of all that activity. The store isn't very large at all, and it can get a bit crowded when we get a fresh delivery and customers are coming in at the same time. We just pile the boxes up in the corner and make it work. We sell the usual things that people need when they’re traveling or living nearby. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a local store where you can get what you need without any fuss. We know a lot of the regular travelers and neighbors by their names. Alappuzha is a beautiful place to live and work, and we’re happy to be part of the daily rhythm here. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and humid, so we just sit under the fan and wait for the evening breeze to kick in. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. People just see the shop when they get off the bus. We focus on having what people ask for and being honest.
