Our workplace is situated in Patrapada at Plot No- 324. It is on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, which gives us a bit more breathing room than if we were right downtown. Quadrant Food Services is the name we go by. We handle food supplies and a bit of prep work for various clients. The building is a basic structure, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We have a couple of delivery trucks that are constantly moving in and out with supplies. The yard gets filled up with empty pallets pretty quickly, so we are always moving things around to make space. Most of the people working here live in the Patrapada area, so it’s a local crew. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just a few desks shoved in a corner where we handle the paperwork. It’s a real job with plenty of dust and noise when the fans are going. We just try to get the orders filled and loaded as fast as we can. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at the same time, but we just deal with it. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. It’s a decent spot, and we just keep working hard every day to keep things moving. There aren't any big secrets to it, just a lot of lifting and counting and checking the lists.
