Pathika Family Restaurant is our eating place located at Plot No-88/15 in Acharya Vihar, Bhubaneswar. It’s a straightforward family restaurant where we serve the kind of food we like to eat ourselves. We aren't trying to be fancy or win any culinary awards. We just want to provide a place where families in the neighborhood can come and have a good meal without spending too much. The kitchen is always a bit of a mess during the dinner rush, but we get the food out as fast as we can. Acharya Vihar is a busy part of town, so we get a lot of people stopping by after work or on their way somewhere else. We don't have any big corporate mission or "best service" promises. We just do our best to keep the tables clean and the food hot. Sometimes we run out of the daily special or the AC stops working for an hour, which is just life in Orissa. We handle all the chores ourselves, from buying the vegetables in the morning to closing up the shutters at night. It’s a lot of physical work, but it’s what we know. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who have been with us for a while. If you’re around the Khordha area and want a simple meal, we are usually here.
