Vaso College

Vaso College is the name most people use, but the full title is Shri S. B. Patel Arts and Shri R. N. Amin Commerce College. We are situated on Havelli Street in the village of Vaso. This is in the Nadiad area of Gujarat 387380. It’s a local college through and through. The village is small and quiet, so the college is one of the main landmarks around here. We have arts and commerce classes running throughout the week. The building has been here for years and it shows its age in a few spots. We don’t have a big team of people doing fancy marketing or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us keeping the place running. Students come from all over the nearby villages. You see them arriving on buses or bikes every morning. We try to keep the classrooms tidy but with so many people, it’s a constant task. Havelli Street is usually pretty calm, except when the college lets out. Then it gets a bit noisy for a while. We enjoy being part of the Vaso community. Most of us grew up in this region, so we know the families who send their kids here. It’s a simple life. We don’t have complicated goals, we just make sure the students can get their degrees and move on. It is a very direct and plain way of doing things.
