Sardar Patel Education Campus

This campus is located out on Vidhyanagar Vadtal Road, near Bakrol in Anand. It's a big area with several buildings spread out. If you’ve ever driven down towards Vadtal, you probably saw the gates. It feels a bit different than the middle of the city because there’s more space here. We have a lot of students coming and going at different hours since there are various departments. The walk from the main road to the back of the campus can take a few minutes if you aren't rushing. We deal with all the usual stuff like keeping the water coolers filled and making sure the grounds aren't too messy. In the monsoon, the dirt tracks get a bit muddy, which is always a hassle for the staff. Most of us have been working here for a few years now. You see the same faces every morning at the gate. The canteen gets packed during the break times, and it’s usually pretty loud with everyone talking at once. It’s not a quiet place, but it has its own pace. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because the buildings are large. There’s always a light to fix or a desk to move. It’s just how it goes on a campus this size. People find their way here from all over the district. It’s a lot of work to keep it running, but we just take it one day at a time. Every season brings its own set of chores for us to handle.
