Vaishali Gruh Udyog

Vaishali Gruh Udyog is located right opposite the C.G. General Hospital in Uttarsanda. It’s a busy little spot because of the hospital traffic. We make various food items here. It’s a gruh udyog, which means it’s more like a home-based industry. The smell of snacks and spices is always in the air. We have several ladies from the village who come in to help with the preparation. It’s a very local operation. We don’t use big industrial machines for everything. A lot of it is still done by hand because that’s how the taste stays right. Uttarsanda is a quiet place otherwise, but our corner is usually humming. We sell mostly to people who walk by or local shops in the area. The building isn't very large. We have a front counter where people can pick up what they need. We don't have a big team of sales people. It’s just us making stuff and selling it. My mother started this many years ago, and we haven't changed the recipes much. It's simple, honest work. The hospital across the street is a good landmark for anyone looking for us. We just keep making our goods and hope people enjoy them enough to tell their friends. It's a nice way to spend the day, working with food and neighbors. We usually start our preparations very early in the morning so the food is fresh for the first customers who arrive.
