The shop is at number 6/17 and 18, right on Kasari Road. If you know where Sardar Patel High School is, we are directly opposite that. It gets really loud around here when the school bell rings and all the kids come out. We are also right beside Jain Wadi, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us in Anand. We deal with various food items, mostly packing things up and getting them ready for people. The space isn't huge, but we make use of every corner we have. There are always boxes stacked up near the entrance and the smell of spices or flour in the air. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different cousins helping out depending on the day. Kasari Road has a lot of traffic, and we spend a lot of time watching the scooters zip by. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical place where work gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Dealing with the distributors is a big part of the day, checking the manifests and making sure everything is counted right. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat more than to buy things sometimes, which is fine by us. It feels like a proper community spot here near the school and the temple area, where everyone is just going about their business.
