Prasad Earth Movers

Out here in Pulluru Village, near Raju Thanda, you’ll find us at Prasad Earth Movers. We are located in Garla Mandal, which is part of the Khammam District in Telangana. Our work is mostly about moving dirt and clearing land. We have the heavy machines parked out in the yard, and they take up a lot of space. Most mornings start with checking the oil and fuel in the backhoes and excavators before they head out to a job site. It’s loud and dusty work, but someone has to do it. The ground around here can be tough, especially when it hasn't rained in a while and the soil gets like rock. Then again, when it rains, it turns into a muddy mess that makes moving the equipment a real challenge. We spend a lot of time on the road, traveling to different sites across the district. The office is just a small room in the house at H. No. 1-5 where we keep the logbooks and keys. It’s a family-run sort of thing, so there’s always someone around to answer the door. We don't have a big corporate setup, just the machines and the skill to use them. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask if we can level a bit of their land or dig a trench. We just fit it into the schedule when we can. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset most days.
