Stone Land

Stone Land is tucked away in Pith Bazar, right behind the Mansuri Jamat Khana. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache some days. We deal with all kinds of stone here, from big slabs to smaller pieces for floors. The yard is full of different textures and colors that we’ve brought in. It’s a heavy trade, and our hands are usually pretty rough from moving the material around. We aren't a big corporation, just a local spot where people come when they want something solid for their house. We spend our mornings checking the stock and talking to the drivers who drop off the new loads. Sometimes we have to move things twice just to get to the one piece a customer wants to see, but that’s part of the job. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, making the granite and marble quite hot to the touch. We’ve been in this location for a good bit of time now, and we know most of the regulars who walk through the bazar. It isn't anything fancy, just a lot of stone and some tools for measuring. We try to be helpful when someone asks a question, but mostly we let the material speak for itself. It's honest work and keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We enjoy the pace here and the people we meet every afternoon.
