Miran Agate

We are located in Dadiba, right behind the Janta Rice Mill. It can be a little hard to find us if you don't know the area, as we are tucked away behind the big mill. The smell of grain and the sound of the machinery from the rice mill are just part of our daily life here. We work with agate, so our workshop is always filled with stones in various stages of being sorted or polished. It’s a dirty job, and we usually end up with dust on our clothes and hands by the end of the day. We have bins full of raw stones that we have to go through one by one. It’s slow work and takes a lot of patience to see the colors in the rocks. The space isn't very large, and it's mostly filled with our tools and the benches where we sit to work. We don't get a lot of random people walking in since we aren't on a main road, so it's usually just us and the people we do business with directly. We have a small radio that plays in the background to keep things from being too quiet. Sometimes the dust from the rice mill gets everywhere, especially when the wind blows the wrong way. It’s just a regular workshop where we focus on our stones and try to get through the piles of work we have.
