Upendra Enterprises

Upendra Enterprises is based out of Village Guludiposhi, which is in the Chapua Block of Keonjhar. It’s a quiet area mostly, but our yard stays active with all the supplies we handle. We’re located near the Kashipal post office. It's a bit of a drive to get out here if you're coming from the main city, but the local folks know the way. We started this small business to provide what people around the village needed for their homes. We carry different building materials and we try to keep enough in stock so people don’t have to wait too long. The roads in Keonjhar can be rough, especially in the monsoon, so getting deliveries in and out is sometimes a challenge. We spend our days checking the inventory and talking to the local builders. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together. We don’t have any fancy slogans or big signs. Just the name on the wall and the stuff we sell sitting out in the yard. We handle everything ourselves, from the unloading of the trucks to the paperwork in the small shack we use as an office. It’s a simple life here in Guludiposhi. We work hard, we stay honest, and we try to help out our neighbors when they’re building something new. It is just steady, daily work that keeps us going through the seasons.
