Steel Engineering

Steel Engineering is located out in Gulai, in the Keonjhar district. It’s a quiet enough area until the machines start up in the morning. We do a lot of metal work here, mostly repairs and some fabrication when someone needs something specific built. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have the tools we need to get things done. Most of the people working here grew up around Gulai or the nearby villages. We know the local needs because we live here too. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different projects arrive at once, but we manage to figure it out. We don't have a big corporate office or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you'll find someone with a welding mask or a wrench in their hand. It's dirty work, and the floors are always covered in metal shavings, but that’s how a shop like this should be. We take pride in just doing the job right. If a farmer brings in a broken part or a builder needs a frame, we take a look and see what can be done. Keonjhar is a big district, but news travels fast, so we try to keep our word. We don't spend money on fancy signs. People just know where at Post Gulai we are. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just keep our heads down and work.
