Our office for Hind Metals & Industries Ltd. is located in Keonjhar, over in Baladevjew Colony. If you know this part of Orissa, you know Keonjhar is famous for its hills and the mining that goes on around here. A.K. Pati is usually the person you’ll run into if you visit us. We’ve been settled in Kashipur for quite a while now. The work involves a lot of coordination with local industries and managing metal supplies. It isn’t always clean work; the dust from the roads and the nearby sites tends to find its way everywhere. We don't have any fancy decorations in the office, just the desks, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork. The tea shop nearby is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day. The Pin-758001 area has seen a lot of change with the mining boom, but our routine stays mostly the same. We wake up, get to the colony, and start the day’s work. Sometimes the electricity goes out during the monsoon rains, and we just wait it out with some tea. We aren't a massive multinational, just a local company trying to stay relevant in a busy industrial district. People around Baladevjew Colony know us as the metal people. We don't do much marketing because most of our clients are other businesses who have worked with us for years. It’s about being reliable and showing up every day to handle the orders.
