Brahmani River Pellets Ltd

We are located out in Keonjhar, right in the Tonto area near Barbil. It is a busy place here with the iron ore and all the movement around the river. Brahmani River Pellets Ltd has been around this part of Orissa for a while now. Most of us get here early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool before the dust kicks up from the trucks. The plant is where everything happens. We spend most of the day looking at the machines and making sure the pellets are coming out right. It is noisy work and you have to wear your gear all the time. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and that makes the shifts feel longer, but people here just get on with it. We handle a lot of the material that comes from the mines around Barbil. Our office is not fancy. It is just a place to keep the logs and talk to the drivers. We have people from the local villages working here mostly. When the rains come, the roads around Tonto get a bit messy, but the work doesn't stop. It’s a practical setup. We just focus on getting the daily load moved out. There are no big speeches here, just the sound of the conveyor belts and the guys checking the quality. We have a small canteen where we eat our lunch quickly before heading back to the floor. It is just how things go in this line of work.
