About Ceramic Research & Development Centre – Building & Construction Material in Katni
We are located at 45 Industrial Area, and that’s where all the work happens for the Ceramic Research & Development Centre. It’s a place filled with kilns, testing equipment, and lots of clay samples. Being in the industrial area means it’s always a bit loud with trucks passing by and other factories working nearby. We aren't doing anything flashy here. Most of our time is spent looking at how different ceramic materials react to heat or pressure. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. Some days a test works out, and some days we have to start all over again. The floors are usually a bit dusty from the raw materials we use. We have benches covered in tools and notebooks where we write down what we observe. It’s a small group of us, and we’ve been here at plot 45 for quite a while. We don’t have a big front office or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a test. It’s very much a hands-on environment. We deal with various local industries that need their materials checked out. It’s quiet work in a way, even with the noise outside, because you have to focus on the details. We just keep doing our research and trying to figure out better ways to work with ceramics. It is a steady routine of testing and recording data, and that keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
