Ismailabad Agro Foods Private Limited is based out of Ward No-6 in Hiranagar, Kathua. We operate from Kamal Singh’s place, he’s the son of Mehar Singh. It is a local spot in Jammu & Kashmir where we deal with different kinds of food products coming from the farms. Most of our day is spent talking to growers or checking the quality of the grains and produce that comes through. We don't have a big factory or a polished office building. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. Hiranagar is a good place to be for this kind of work because there’s a lot of farming happening all around us. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a batch of food isn't right, we say so. We don't use big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. It’s just a small group of us working hard to get food from the fields to where it needs to go. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the deliveries and the weather, but we’ve learned to deal with it. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and everyone knows the house in Ward 6. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job with the agro foods business here in Kathua. It keeps us busy and pays the bills, and we enjoy seeing the harvest come in every season.
