Brajkisaan Producer Company is based at Sarva Kalyanam Bhawan in Shekha village. We are right on the road that goes from Panethi to Kasganj. It’s a good spot because a lot of traffic goes by, which helps with moving our stuff. We are just a group of farmers from Shekha and the nearby villages. We aren't a big business with a bunch of suits. We’re the same people you see out in the fields every day. We use the building at Sarva Kalyanam Bhawan as our home base. It’s where we keep our records and meet to talk about the weather and the crops. Jalali is just down the road, so we get people coming from all over this area. We don't have any glossy brochures. We just rely on our reputation and the work we do. Farming is hard, and some days it feels like everything is going wrong, like when the truck gets a flat or the market is closed. But we just keep at it. We handle a variety of produce depending on what’s in season. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’ve been part of this village for a long time and we plan to stay. We just want to keep the farm going and help our neighbors do the same. It takes a lot of patience, but we don't mind.
