Out here in Karivedakam village, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We are Paduppu Bbg Farming, and we operate out of Mishkath Mahal right here in Paduppu. It's a small place in Kasargod where everyone knows each other's business. We mostly focus on our farming activities on the land around the village. It is a partnership between a few of us who wanted to see if we could make a go of it together. The soil here is good if you treat it right, so we spend most of our mornings out in the fields before the sun gets too hot. There is always something that needs fixing, whether it's a fence or a piece of equipment. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to grow good crops and keep our families going. Living in a place like Kasargod means you have to be ready for the rain when it comes. Sometimes the roads get messy, but we still manage to get the work done. Our office at Mishkath Mahal is basically just a room where we keep our records and have a tea when we need a break. It is honest work, and it keeps us tired but satisfied at the end of the day.
