You can find us over in Padne, specifically at the address C/O Madaprath Fousiyanr G U P S. We are pretty close to the school there, which is a landmark most people in this part of Kasargod know. Kasargod District Farmers Private Limited is really just a bunch of us from the local area who decided to pull our resources together. Farming by yourself is getting harder every year, so we thought a company might help us get better prices or at least share some of the heavy lifting. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, and our office isn't much to look at, but it serves its purpose. We talk about seeds, weather, and who needs help with their harvest that week. Sometimes we sit around and complain about the rain or the lack of it, but mostly we just get on with it. Living in Padne is quiet for the most part, and we like it that way. Most of the farmers here have been working these fields for decades, following what their fathers did. We try to keep those traditions alive while also figuring out the paperwork that comes with being a private limited company. It's a lot of learning on the go. We aren't experts in business, but we know the land around Kasargod pretty well, and that’s what really matters to us in the end. It's just about helping each other out through the seasons.
