Sri Sankara Vidyalayaa

You can find Sri Sankara Vidyalayaa over at No 455/9 on Chinnandan Kovil Street in Andankoil, Karur. It’s a local school that has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. The street outside can get a bit narrow when the school buses are trying to pass through in the mornings. We have a simple setup here with the classrooms lined up along the corridors. Karur is known for being a bit of a hardworking town, and that reflects in how we run things every day. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. We just make sure the students are in their classes and the teachers have their chalk and books ready. The building is painted a plain color and we try to keep the courtyard as clean as we can. There is a lot of noise during the lunch break when all the kids are out eating their tiffins together. We have a small office where we keep all the records and handle the admissions. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking sound, but nobody really minds that. It’s just part of the atmosphere of the place. We see the same parents every day and we know most of the families in Andankoil quite well. It’s an honest place where everyone knows their role. We just keep going, year after year, making sure the basic needs are met.
