Perfect Systems Ltd.

It’s pretty quiet here in Salaipudur, mostly just the usual village sounds and the occasional tractor passing by. We set up Perfect Systems Ltd because the nearest place to get a computer looked at was too far for most folks in Chinnadharapuram to bother with. Our shop is just a basic room in Aravakuruchi, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just boxes of cables, a few monitors that have seen better days, and a workbench that’s always cluttered with screws and plastic casings. Most days start with opening the shutters around nine and checking if the internet is actually behaving itself today. We spend a lot of time just chatting with people who drop by, some because their laptop won't turn on and others just to see what's new. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on high speed most of the year. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part has to come from Karur, but that’s just how it goes here. We keep a diary of what needs doing on the desk, but mostly we just remember who owns which machine by the scratches on the lid or the stickers their kids put on them. It’s a simple way to make a living in this part of the district.
