Athira Enterprises

Our business, Athira Enterprises, is located at 73, Valluvar Nagar in Pugalur. It is a fairly simple place on a street that doesn't see too much heavy traffic. We deal with various supplies that local people and small businesses in the area need for their daily work. The shopfront is modest, with a heavy rolling shutter that we pull up every morning around nine. Inside, we have some metal racks and a counter where we keep our ledgers and a telephone that rings occasionally. It isn't the kind of place you would see in a magazine, just a functional space for trading and storage. We have some chairs for visitors, though most people are in a hurry and just want to pick up their items and head back to work. Pugalur can get quite hot, so we usually keep the door half-closed in the afternoon to stay out of the direct sun. We know most of our regular customers by name because they have been coming here for a long time. There is no fancy marketing team here, just a few of us handling the orders and making sure the inventory matches what we have on paper. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, which causes a bit of a stir with the neighbors. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the shelves stocked with what is needed in Valluvar Nagar.
