Our shop is in Golden Plaza on Trichy Road, which is out in the Thanthonimalai area. It is pretty easy to find because we are quite close to the petrol bunk. If you are driving down Trichy Road, you probably see us all the time. The plaza itself stays busy throughout the day. We spend most of our mornings opening up cases and checking why laptops are overheating or why the power supply gave out. It’s mostly just us sitting at the workbench with screwdrivers and testers. Some people come in looking for a new mouse or maybe a keyboard because theirs finally quit. We keep a decent stock of that kind of stuff on the shelves. It’s a bit of a walk-in kind of place. We don't really have a big staff, so when things get busy, people sometimes have to wait a few minutes while we finish up a task. The area around Thanthonimalai is growing, so we see a lot of new faces lately. We deal with all sorts of computer problems, from slow systems to broken hinges. It’s practical work. We just stay here and try to get things back to the owners as soon as we can. Usually, the shop smells a bit like solder and dust, but that’s just how a repair place is. We’ve been here in Golden Plaza for a good bit now and know the road well.
