The Vivaan Resorts

Our place, The Vivaan Resorts, is located right on the highway at the 134 Km Mile Stone of Nh 1. We are in the HBC area of Karnal, very close to Karan Lake. Being out here means we have a lot of space, which is nice compared to the crowded city. The resort has several buildings and some garden areas. It takes a lot of effort to keep the grass green and the paths clean. We have a local crew that handles the maintenance and the rooms. The wind blows quite a bit across the open fields nearby. We see a lot of people who are just driving through and need a break. It isn't a silent place because of the highway traffic, but it has its own rhythm. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. Most of us are from nearby villages and have been working here since we opened. Sometimes the phones don't work perfectly and we have to scramble to fix things. We spend a lot of time preparing for weekend rushes. The lobby is big and can feel a bit empty on weekdays, but it fills up fast. We aren't trying to be a luxury palace. We’re just a large resort on the road where people can stop and rest for a while. We keep things simple.
