Rugs Creations

Rugs Creations is set up in Sec 29 Huda. This area is known for textiles, so it made sense for us to be here. We deal with rugs, as you might guess from the name, so the whole place is usually covered in bits of wool and fiber. It’s a big, open space because you need room to spread things out and look at the patterns. It’s not a fancy office; it’s more like a large warehouse where things are happening all the time. The floor is concrete, and the air smells a bit like raw material and tea. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. We mostly rely on our hands and the old machines that have been running since we opened. Huda is a good location for us because it’s easy for suppliers to drop off the yarn, even if the roads are a bit bumpy. We’re not a huge corporation with a hundred different departments. We’re just a small group of folks who know a lot about rugs and how to put them together. Sometimes we argue about a design or a color, but at the end of the day, we’re all on the same side. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just let the work speak for itself. If someone wants a rug from Sec 29, they usually find their way to our door eventually.
