Shiv Jyoti Exports is based over at 209, Sector-29, Huda. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial and commercial setups. Our place is a straightforward building where we manage everything from receiving goods to sending them off to the ports. We don’t have any big signs or flashy entrances. It’s just a gate and a front door that stays open most of the day. Inside, it’s mostly boxes and desks. We handle a variety of products, mostly things that come from the local factories around here. Dealing with exports means we are always on the phone or checking emails about shipping schedules. It can be a bit repetitive, but someone has to do it. The neighborhood is quiet during the day, mostly just trucks moving in and out of the sector. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the manifests. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out. We aren't fancy people. We just want to make sure the orders are right and they leave on time. It's a lot of checking and re-checking. We don't really have a showroom because we don't sell to individuals who just walk in. Everything is wholesale and for the international market. It’s a practical business run by a few of us here in Huda.
