Radhey Shyam

I am located at Shop Number 22 in the Tau Devi Lal Complex. Panipat is where I’ve always been, and this complex is a pretty well-known spot for everyone living around here. It is a bit of a walk into the complex to find shop 22, but once you are here, it’s a nice little corner. My name is Radhey Shyam and I spend most of my day right here. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything I need. The walls are a bit plain and I haven't really spent much time decorating or making it look like those fancy stores in the big malls. I think people like that it feels like a real place where work actually happens. Outside, you can hear the other shopkeepers talking and the sound of people looking for bargains. Panipat can get really cold in the winter and quite dusty in the summer, so the shop is like a little retreat from the weather. I don't have a big staff or anything, just myself and sometimes a helper if things get backed up. We don’t use any complicated systems, just pen and paper and a bit of a computer when we really have to. It’s just a simple shop in a busy part of town. I have been here long enough that I know most of the people who walk past every morning. It is just a normal life.
