Pindi Bakers & Flowers

You can find us at Shop Number 15 in Club Market, right on the Bus Stand Road in Karnal. It’s a busy little area, especially being so close to the Karnal Club. The mix of being Pindi Bakers & Flowers means the shop usually has a very specific smell, a bit of yeast and a bit of fresh petals, which is quite nice when you walk in. We’ve been here for a while, and the shop is a bit cramped because we have to fit in the ovens and the flower racks. It’s not one of those modern, minimalist stores you see in the mall. It’s a working shop where we are usually busy packing up boxes or trimming stems. The floor is often a bit messy with leaves or flour by the end of the day, but we clean it up before heading home. Being near the bus stand means there is a constant stream of people walking by, some in a hurry and some just browsing. We don’t really do big advertisements; people just seem to know we are here in the market. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. It’s just a local shop run by real people who like what they do without making a big fuss about it. We’ve got our routine down and we just enjoy being part of the local market life every day.
