Meghna Rugs

We are situated right behind the Goyal Filling Station on Gohana Road. It is a handy landmark because everyone knows where to get petrol around here. Meghna Rugs isn't a huge operation, but we have enough room to do our work. The sound of the cars and trucks pulling into the station is something you just get used to after a few days. We have a large door in the back that we keep open for ventilation. The rugs take up a lot of floor space so we are always moving things around to make a path. It is a bit of a workout just getting through the day sometimes. Gohana Road is always busy and that brings a bit of energy to the area. We have been in this spot for a while now and the building is sturdy even if it isn't the prettiest thing on the block. Inside, it's mostly just piles of rugs and the smell of the materials we use. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. We just let the work speak for itself to the people who drop by. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses so we all look out for each other. It's a practical place to work and it suits us just fine. We start our mornings early and stay until the sun goes down, just keeping at it. Sometimes we have a little chat with the folks at the filling station while we get our tea.
