Loharuka Hotes & Resorts operates out of an office at R-312 in Model Town, Karnal. Model Town is a well-known part of the city, and our building is just one of many on a street lined with houses and other small offices. We handle the management side of things from here, so there is a lot of time spent on the phone and looking at computer screens. It isn't a resort itself, just the place where the planning and the paperwork happen. The office has a few desks and some chairs for visitors, but it's mostly a quiet workspace for the staff. We usually start our day by checking emails and catching up on what’s happening at the different properties we manage. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, and we aren't formal about much. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around, or we take a walk down the street to grab a cold drink when it gets too hot in the afternoon. We have been in this spot for a while, so we know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It’s a very standard office setup with files stacked in the corners and a calendar on the wall that's usually marked up with dates. We don't put on a show; we just come in, do our administrative tasks, and keep the business running from this small corner of Haryana.
