Bhartiya Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School

Bhartiya Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School is on the Jind Road in Madlauda. It is a busy stretch of road in the Panipat district. The school has been a part of this town for many years now. You cannot miss the building if you are driving through Madlauda towards Jind. It is a large enough place since we have the older senior secondary students here too. The atmosphere is usually a bit more serious because of the board exams and higher classes. There is always someone studying in a corner or carrying a heavy bag of books. The hallways have that old school smell of paper, ink, and floor cleaner. We have several benches outside where students sit during their lunch breaks. It is not a landscaped garden, just a simple place for them to sit and talk. The traffic on Jind Road is constant, so there is a background noise of horns and engines throughout the day. We have all just gotten used to it. The staff room is usually full of notebooks that need grading and tea cups. We do not have a lot of high-tech equipment. It is mostly just teachers talking and students listening to the lessons. People in Madlauda know us well. We see the local shopkeepers every day. It is a solid school that does not try to look like a palace.
