Swamy Transport

We have been running Swamy Transport for quite some time now out of our place in Vill Vanthadupula. The house number is 5-52/1 and most people in the Elanthakunta mandal know where we are if they need something moved. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a regular spot where we keep track of the trucks and the schedules. Moving goods from one village to another takes a lot of patience because the roads are not always the best and the weather can be a real problem during the rainy season. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure things are loaded the right way. My family helps out with the paperwork and keeping the keys organized. Sometimes the trucks come back very late at night and the dogs in the village start barking, which wakes up the neighbors. It is hard work and the diesel prices keep going up which makes things difficult to manage. We just try to get the loads delivered to where they need to go without too much trouble. Most of our days are spent checking tires and making sure the engines are running okay because a breakdown in the middle of nowhere is a big headache for everyone. We know the routes around here pretty well by now. If you walk past our place you will likely see a couple of us sitting outside drinking tea and waiting for the next trip to start.
