Ken-Crest The Global School

Our school, Ken-Crest The Global School, is situated in Jyothi Nagar in Karimnagar. It is a residential part of town, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main market areas. We have been at this address for a good bit, and the building has become a familiar sight for everyone living around here. Most days are pretty straightforward. We get here early to unlock the rooms and make sure the chalk and markers are ready for the teachers. It is not a very flashy place, just a regular school with classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. We spend a lot of time dealing with the small things, like fixing a leaky tap or making sure the gate lock is working properly. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The families in Jyothi Nagar often stop by to ask questions or just to say hello while they are out on their morning walks. We don't really have a polished way of speaking about ourselves; we are just local people running a school. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to shuffle things around, or the rain makes the courtyard a bit slippery, but we just deal with it as it comes.
