Bharat Ratna School

Our school is located right behind the Hanumanman Temple in Mankammathota. Being in this part of Karimnagar means we hear the temple sounds throughout the day, which is just part of our normal background now. It’s a busy little area, and the school fits right into the local rhythm. We aren't a big, fancy institution with lots of shiny equipment. Instead, we have basic classrooms where the teachers do their best to explain the lessons every day. We deal with the usual school stuff, like keeping the attendance records straight and making sure the kids don't run too fast in the hallways. The floors are concrete and the windows are often left open to let in the breeze, along with a bit of the street noise from outside. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time, and we all just pitch in where it is needed. Sometimes the office gets buried in files and books, but we eventually sort it out. People around Mankammathota know us as the school by the temple, and that’s fine by us. We don't need a lot of attention or big advertisements to do what we do. It is just about showing up every morning, opening the gate, and getting through the day's work with the kids. It’s honest, simple, and keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon.
