R K Transformers

The workshop for R K Transformers is situated at 1 3 90 in Kurshnangar, which is part of Jagtial in the Karimnagar area. It is a practical kind of place where there is always the smell of copper and industrial oil in the air. We spend our days dealing with the heavy stuff, mostly fixing up units or putting things together for the local electrical needs. It gets very hot in the shed during the summer months, but we just keep the water jug full and keep moving. The address is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood well. We have a few tools that have been with us since we started, and they still work better than the new ones sometimes. It is a bit of a messy job, but someone has to do it to keep the lights on around here. We don't really do much advertising because most people just hear about us from their neighbors or other shop owners in the district. It’s a local operation through and through. We start early in the morning when it’s still cool and try to finish the heavy lifting before the sun gets too high. There is no corporate office or fancy uniforms here. We just wear what works for the job and focus on the wires and the steel in front of us. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
