We are located way out in Godavarikhani, specifically at T2 380 in Tilaknagar. It’s a public sector organisation, so as you can imagine, there is a lot of procedure involved in everything we do. Sd Rayees Ahmed is the one who keeps things moving around here. The Karimnagar district gets incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of our budget just keeping the fans running and making sure there is enough cold water in the cooler for everyone. Our office is pretty basic, with old metal desks and filing cabinets that have been here since the place opened. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it’s just walls and calendars. There is a lot of coming and going with different officials and people from the community. Since we are a public sector spot, we have to keep very strict records of everything, so there are stacks of ledgers everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us eventually. We have a small crew and everyone has their specific job to do. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy signs out front. It is just a regular office where we handle the business of the state. Most days are pretty much the same, filled with signatures and stamps and a bit of chat during the lunch break.
