Kesoram Cements

We are located over at Q.No:C1/12 in the staff colony here in Basant Nagar. It’s part of the whole Kesoram Cements setup in the Karim Nagar district. Working here means being part of a community that’s been around for decades. Most of the families in the colony have been here for generations, so there is a lot of history in these streets. The houses are old but they hold up well against the rain and the sun. We spend our days managing the various needs of the plant and the people who live here. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things don't break down at the wrong time. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or water issues, but that’s just part of living in this area of A.P. You learn to be practical and fix things yourself when you have to. The canteen is usually where we catch up on the latest news from the other departments. It’s a small-town vibe where everyone knows your business, but that also means people look out for each other. We don't have many big shops or malls nearby, so we make do with what we have at the local market. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the hard work and the occasional dust. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done to keep the cement moving out to the buyers and the construction sites.
