This part of Karimnagar district is always on the go because of the mining and all the industry nearby. You can see the dust in the air most days, and the roads are always filled with heavy vehicles. Our office isn't anything big, just a place to keep the books and meet with people. Being near the Press Club means there is always something happening outside our window. We spend our days tracking shipments of Kesoram Cement and making sure the local supply is steady. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing down numbers. We don’t use any complicated systems, just the same methods that have worked for years. Sometimes the heat in Godavari Khani gets to be too much, so we take it a bit slower in the mid-afternoon. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a big sign for people to find us. Most of the local builders just know where we are.
