Tandoori Bites

You can find Tandoori Bites right on G T Road in Phagwara. We’re situated right beside the Subway, so we’re pretty easy to spot if you’re driving through the town. Being on such a main road means we see a lot of travelers and local people alike. The traffic never really stops out there on the highway. Inside our shop, we try to keep things a bit more quiet for the guests. It’s just a small team of us working here. We start early in the morning getting everything ready for the lunch rush. It’s a lot of chopping and prepping before the ovens even get turned on for the day. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to serve food that tastes the way it should. Sometimes the service is a bit slower when we’re short-staffed, but we do what we can with the hands we have. The chairs are wooden and simple. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but it feels like home to us. Phagwara is a good place to be for a business. We get people from the nearby university and families from the houses around here. It's a mix of everyone. We just keep the doors open and the grill hot. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a regular business on a busy Punjab road.
